If you have never been to a Lavender field before I would highly recommend it as a great day out. My Sister-In-Law came to London for a visit and so we went out to explore the Great British Outdoors.
The Mayfield Lavender Field is in Banstead, Surrey so not too far away from home. It was the 2nd time I have been there and it still always manages to leave me feeling enchanted by the purple beauty that you see when you cast your eyes over the lavender.
Check them out on Instagram @mayfieldlavender and start planning your next day trip – it’s a lovely place to visit and take in the surroundings, enjoy a lovely English Cream Tea with lavender infused warm scones and ice-cream. I must admit we tried the lavender cider and I have to be honest I will not be trying it again! I guess it is an acquired taste, not for me.
We brought home some gorgeous lavender drawer pouches and the most beautiful Lavender & Oud perfume, which I cannot get enough of.
