The past few weeks since coming out of lockdown has been super busy with work, family and my home renovation project, that I have not had any time to meet up with friends.
This photo was taken by my good friend Beatrice. We had not seen each other for a good couple of years and although our time was limited, we decided to meet for an hour and catch up as much as we could in that time in the local park.
We filled each other in, on our past and current life adventures and shared many life lessons, new personal development practices and rituals in that short amount of time. It felt so good to be connected after so long. We both wondered why it took us so long to spend a bit of time out of our day-to-day routine to catch up.
Note to self: It’s important to make time for yourself and others, it enriches the soul 🙏🏽
